Program Coordinator: Kathy Martin
Kathy Martin is our Program Coordinator. Every time a child walks out of the BBBS office, excited to have their first outing with their new Big Brother or Big Sister, we always hear her say “I love my job!” Being a bridge that connects children with a healthy role model is more of a passion than a job for Kathy. She first came out to Montana in 1998 to work as a summer camp counselor after her junior year of college for Camp of the Turtle and fell in love with the area. For the past 16 years, since receiving her Bachelors Degree in Theology from Saint Louis University with a minor in Elementary Education, she has been working in the field of social services for organizations such as Sisters of the Road in Portland, Oregon, The Montana Youth Conservation Corps, Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, and here at Big Brothers Big Sisters. She is the mother of two active boys and enjoys reading, hiking and horseback riding. Kathy can be reached via email at: email@example.com

After she followed her grandparents to Montana in 1981, she owned a fine art gallery in Livingston for 16 years, while being part of the team that created the Livingston Gallery Association and initiated the Friday night Gallery Walks. While running the Wade Gallery, she volunteered her time with a number of local non-profits, including being a founding member of the Greater Yellowstone Coalition and the Park County Environmental Council.
