This has been a very
busy summer for the Park County
office. We had the
opportunity to raffle
off an
autographed replica of Sheryl Crows guitar.
People
from across the country purchased tickets,
but the winner of the
guitar and second and third places, were all from the Livingston area! The raffle was a great
success and we would
like to thank all of you who supported BBBS!
We
also have been busy with our summer buddies program!
This program ran for 7 weeks and we took
ready to be matched children and matched them with adult volunteers
that could
be a part of the summer program. We
were able to have Carol Jensens Windwalker Camp every week. It involved setting up a
teepee, pow wows
and other native American rituals.
The
last day of the program is August 6th.
Paradise Pleasure Floats, from Livingston, donated
several raft trips to
BBBS that ran throughout the summer.
We
had a great time on all of the trips and we would like to thank Matt
Salmonson,
of Paradise Pleasure Floats, for donating the trips!
